Flood and School Updates

March came in like a lion and left like a lion. Is there something wrong with this picture? We have missed 8 days of school due to the flood and weather in the last two weeks. We have not received word from the governor as to weather we have to make up these school days or not. We will let you know when we hear what is decided. We are making up two storm days. Grace will have school on Thursday, April 9th and Monday, April 13th. We will not have school this Friday, April 10th for Good Friday. The Snack Calendar has been updated to include those students who missed being the snack helper the last 8 days in March. Please excuse the rush job, but it’s our reality these days. Doughnuts For Dad and the Scholastic book fair will be rescheduled at a later date. Please watch the school newsletter for more updates.

School Pictures

School Pictures are going home today. Each child will receive three packets. Two packets of graduation pictures (two different backgrounds) and one school picture packet. Look through the packets and decide if you would like any of them. If you do not want any pictures, return the pictures to school. If you decide to keep the pictures return the money to school.

Graduation Hats

It’s time to order graduation hats for kindergarten graduation. An order form will be going home this week. Please fill out the form and return the form with your money by Tuesday, April 21st.

Progress Reports

Progress reports will be going home this week. Because we have missed school, mid quarter grades will not be going home.

Easter Egg Dying

We would like to dye Eggs this Thursday, April 9th in school. Please send 4 hardboiled eggs to school with your child in a container labeled with your child’s name. We would like to enjoy some Easter festivities as a class before the holiday.
